Shenhua Corporation
Shenhua Group Corporation Limited (abr. Shenhua Group), established in 1995, is a completely nationally-owned company headquartered in Beijing. National Development and Reform Committee is presently its largest shareholder. With 35 subsidiary companies and over 90,000 employees, the total 2004 assets of Shenhua Group were approximately 12 billion US dollars, ranking 34th of China's top 500 companies. Shenhua Group is the largest coal producer (60 Mt/a) in China, accounting for 6% of China's total coal production. In 2003, both its coal production and sales exceeded 100 million tons.
